The first tour of 2009 for the infamous LastMinute Crusader's team will be to Skegness.
Skegness is a seaside town and civil parish within the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. Located along the Lincolnshire coast of the North Sea, it is 43 miles (69 km) east of the city of Lincoln, and has a total resident population of 18,910. (thanks Wikipedia)

The Skegness tour is an annual festival for both mens & womens teams. Last year there was unforunately a large amount of snowfall resulting in the matches having to be called off ...but that didn't stop the tour!
The LastMinute Crusader gents stayed for the whole weekend and drank the bar dry. There have been many tales of how the LM Crusader's actually spent more money behind the bar than all of the other teams in the tournament, combined! This is just one example of our committment to the cause of touring; if you're not going to do it properly, don't do it all. Well, that's our motto anyway.
The dates for the Skegness Festival this year are: Friday 10th April - Sunday 12th April.
The LM team will be convening on Thursday 9th April at Surbiton HC for presentation of tour kit and for the new LM members to become a part of the team and warm-up for tour by getting slightly drunk, or completely smashed if you aren't driving. Team Rules are in effect for this social gathering so make sure you check them out in our 'Team Rules' section of the website.
